Japan Develops AI App for Early Disease Detection

Researchers at Kobe University have launched an AI mobile application capable of analyzing photographs of hands to identify early signs of acromegaly, a rare but severe hormonal disorder. This technology utilizes machine learning algorithms to examine visual markers on the back of the hand and clenched fist, promising faster medical diagnoses by simply using a smartphone image.
