Europe Faces Strawberry Price Surge Due to Climate Crisis

In the lead-up to Valentine's Day, strawberry prices have surged in Europe, primarily due to a significant production drop in Spain's Huelva region. This area previously met much of the continent's demand but is now experiencing difficulties because of intense weather patterns that have drastically reduced both the quantity and quality of strawberries available. Reports indicate that prices have reached €6.44 per kilogram in France as demand outpaces the limited supply.
