OpenAI and Microsoft Restructure Cloud Partnership

Microsoft and OpenAI have restructured their partnership, concluding their exclusive cloud services agreement. This change allows OpenAI to collaborate with other cloud service providers (CSPs), marking the end of Microsoft’s monopoly over ChatGPT. Microsoft will still retain access to OpenAI's models and maintain first-refusal rights for Azure server services.
