LIDL Launches Low-Cost Mobile Operator in Spain

LIDL, owned by Group Schwarz, plans to launch a new low-cost mobile virtual operator (MVNO) in Spain, acquiring 9.9% of communications provider 1Global, which operates on the Orange network. This venture aims to offer affordable mobile services, leveraging LIDL Plus, a platform for service management, and expanding into 30 additional countries.
