Bull Secures €30M for Sweden’s Mimer AI Infrastructure

Bull has secured a €30 million contract to develop an AI-optimized infrastructure at the Mimer AI Factory in Sweden, funded partly by EuroHPC JU. This five-year project encompasses the full spectrum from the systems themselves to the AI platform and relevant use cases, marking a significant investment in the national AI ecosystem.

This initiative signifies a strategic shift towards enhancing Sweden’s computational capabilities in AI, supporting both domestic research and practical application. By investing in home-grown AI infrastructure, Sweden aims to strengthen its technological sovereignty, reducing dependency on foreign solutions and fostering local innovation in the AI sector.
