AirTrunk Installs Solar Array at SYD1 Data Center

AirTrunk has completed the installation of a rooftop solar array at its SYD1 data center in Western Sydney, Australia. This marks the second solar array for AirTrunk, following a recent installation at its JHB1 data center in Johor, Malaysia. The SYD1 facility has a total capacity of 130MW and spans over seven hectares, featuring 42 data halls across five buildings. The specifics of the solar array's capacity have not been disclosed, but it is part of AirTrunk’s broader strategy to implement renewable energy solutions to enhance operational sustainability and reduce carbon emissions.
