Amazon Reports 28% Growth in Cloud Services Revenue

Amazon's AWS cloud division has reported its highest growth rate since 2022, achieving a 28% year-on-year revenue increase, amounting to nearly $38 billion in the first quarter of the year. Furthermore, the overall revenues of Amazon increased by 17% to $181.5 billion, with operational profits rising by 30% to almost $24 billion, surpassing analysts' expectations. However, the substantial investments in AI and cloud services have led to a notable decrease in cash flow.
