Nvidia Expands Office Footprint in India with Major Lease
Nvidia has signed a significant 10-year lease for 760,000 square feet at Bagmane Capital’s Memphis South Tower in Bengaluru, marking its largest office commitment in India to date. This deal nearly doubles Nvidia’s India office footprint, bringing its total space to over 1.135 million square feet across Bengaluru and Pune. Scheduled to take effect from April 1, 2026, the lease is valued at over ₹1,200 crore, reflecting Nvidia's strategy to leverage India's engineering talent amid growing global AI demand.
This expansion is a key part of Nvidia's broader strategy to embed itself within India’s sovereign AI infrastructure initiative. Partners like Yotta are deploying thousands of Nvidia Blackwell Ultra GPUs while L&T is constructing gigawatt-scale AI factories in Chennai and Mumbai. CEO Jensen Huang anticipates cumulative demand for Nvidia’s chip architectures to exceed $1 trillion by 2027. This ambitious projection underscores the critical role of India's engineering talent in meeting Nvidia's growing demands and suggests a significant uptick in India’s prominence in the global AI landscape.
