Sri Lanka Hosts Iranian Sailors Amid Rising Tensions

Sri Lanka has opened its arms to more than 200 Iranian sailors after a deadly incident involving the torpedo strike on another Iranian ship, IRIS Dena, by a US missile. The sailors were brought to safety and are currently housed in a military camp near Colombo. The IRIS Bushehr, the ship they were on, reported engine trouble and sought port entry after the attack that resulted in significant casualties among Iranian forces, as confirmed by the US government.
