EU Cybersecurity Reserve Opens Support to Third Countries

The EU Cyber Solidarity Act allows third countries associated with the Digital Economy Package (DEP) to request assistance from the EU Cybersecurity Reserve. This initiative aims to enhance cyber resilience among partner nations to mitigate risks from significant cyber incidents, which could have spillover effects in the region. As of now, the Republic of Moldova is the first DEP-associated country to receive such support, with the first deployment occurring in September 2025.
