This approach allows them to operate independently during grid disconnects or peak demand periods. Current strategies include microgrids and battery energy storage systems that utilize renewable sources. However, challenges persist, such as regulatory compliance and resource accessibility, which can impede the efficacy of local energy solutions. Overall, integrating on-site capabilities could foster greater energy autonomy within the sector, thereby facilitating AI advancements without increasing dependence on external energy sources.
