China Warns Against OpenClaw AI Bot in Institutions

Reports indicate directives mandating employees to report and potentially uninstall the AI tool, with outright bans imposed on some staff, particularly military family members.

The CNCERT/CC highlights that numerous internet service providers are beginning to offer hosting options for OpenClaw, which poses unique security challenges unlike environments where self-installation is still prevalent.
