Google Commits $40B to Anthropic AI Partnership

Google has committed a total of $10 billion in direct investment to Anthropic AI, valuing the company at $350 billion. This agreement, which includes performance-based conditions for an additional $30 billion investment, signals a deepening partnership that leverages Google’s TPU chips and extensive cloud services. The deal also includes 5 gigawatts of power capacity set to come online by 2027, supporting Anthropic’s Claude AI models.
