Grupo Financiero Banorte has partnered with Hitachi Vantara to migrate its data center from Mexico City to a facility in Querétaro. The migration involved transferring 450 terabytes of data in under an hour and upgrading Banorte's mainframe storage environment. This move aims to address business risks related to natural disasters, as the previous data center faced outages and disruptions.

By enhancing its digital capabilities, particularly through the implementation of Hitachi’s Virtual Storage Platform and Universal Replicator technologies, Banorte has improved its transaction response time by 50%.
