Pilot Energy Expands Data Center to 4MW Capacity

Pilot Energy has installed a 1MW data center module at its Dongara site in Western Australia, collaborating with Kala Data. The facility utilizes existing gas-fired generators and is expected to expand to a total capacity of 4MW by the second half of 2026, leveraging infrastructure from the decommissioned Cliff Head Oil Field. The data center will connect to international networks through a Starlink satellite and contribute to Australia's carbon capture initiatives.
