UAE Neutralizes 90% of Drones Amid Regional Escalation

The UAE Ministry of Defence has reported that over 90 percent of incoming projectiles, including drones and missiles, have been successfully intercepted since February 28. This followed a surge in aerial threats amid heightened tensions after strikes on Iran by US and Israeli forces. The reported figures indicate that of the more than 1,600 projectiles detected, UAE defenses intercepted a significant majority, demonstrating the operational effectiveness of their layered air defense systems, which include advanced platforms like THAAD and Patriot missiles.
