ENISA Enhances EU Cybersecurity Through International Alli合作

The European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) announces an extensive international strategy aimed at bolstering the cybersecurity posture within the EU. This strategy includes the establishment of working arrangements with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and the National Cybersecurity Coordination Center (NCCC) in Ukraine to facilitate information exchange and technical cooperation. The move is part of a broader commitment to collaborate with international partners to enhance the EU’s cybersecurity frameworks and support foundational policies endorsed by the European Commission.

Strategically, ENISA plans to initiate capacity-building initiatives in EU candidate countries beginning in March 2026. With the backing of the Digital Europe Programme and the Cyber Solidarity Act, ENISA will manage the EU Cybersecurity Reserve, thus extending cybersecurity benefits to member states and associated countries. This collaboration not only bolsters readiness and situational awareness but also signifies increased geopolitical alignment and interdependence in a rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape, potentially raising issues of dependency and strategic sovereignty in EU’s cybersecurity efforts.
