Vertiv has announced the acquisition of Strategic Thermal Labs (STL), a firm specializing in liquid cooling solutions. This strategic move aims to expand Vertiv’s capabilities in managing thermal chains, particularly crucial in high-density computing environments, as demand from AI and HPC (high performance computing) applications grows. STL brings significant expertise in designing cold plates and thermal validation, which is essential for optimizing system performance and reliability at the chip level.
