Nxtra Seeks $1B to Expand Indian AI Data Centers

Nxtra, Airtel's data center division, is seeking a $1 billion investment to significantly expand its infrastructure in India. The company currently operates 14 core data centers and around 120 edge sites strategically located in 65 cities across the country. This investment reflects a robust response to increasing demand for data hosting and processing capabilities, particularly in the realm of artificial intelligence and cloud services.
